The Fine Print

The Holy Family Fun Run website (hfafunrun.com) is run by Holy Family Academy to register students, collect pledges and donations for its annual Fun Run, and sell business sponsorships. By using the site — registering a student, making a gift, or purchasing a sponsorship — you agree to these terms.

A parent or legal guardian registers their own student(s). Anyone may make a donation or purchase a sponsorship. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, and for keeping any account access (a magic-link sign-in, a teacher access code) to yourself.

Gifts are voluntary and, once processed, non-refundable except at the school's discretion — contact us if something needs correcting. A flat gift is charged when you give it. A per-lap pledge is not charged then: your card is saved, and the actual charge happens after the event, based on the laps your student really ran, up to the maximum dollar amount you were shown and agreed to before authorizing the card. That maximum is never exceeded.

If you choose to cover processing fees, that amount is added on top of your gift and goes to the payment processor, not the school. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; a receipt naming Holy Family Academy and its EIN is emailed after every successful charge.

Business sponsorships are sold in tiers, each with the benefits described at the time of purchase (logo placement, banner size, and similar). Fulfillment of those benefits (signage, banner placement, social posts, yearbook ads) is handled by the school separately from this site.

If you add a photo, note, or video link for your student, you're confirming you have the right to share it and that it doesn't belong to, or depict, anyone else without their permission. We can decline or remove anything submitted, including for reasons of taste, accuracy, or a broken/inappropriate video link. You can remove your own submissions at any time from the family dashboard.

• Donating with a card that isn't yours, or otherwise attempting to defraud the platform or a donor.
• Trying to access another family's data, another classroom's roster, or any admin function you weren't given access to.
• Uploading anything obscene, harassing, or unrelated to the Fun Run.
• Automated scraping, bulk account creation, or attempting to enumerate student pages.

We can suspend or remove access for any of the above.

Texting is optional and separate from everything else here. If you tick the text-message box when you register, Holy Family Academy may send you Fun Run updates by text at the number you provided — registration opening, reminders before the run, and results afterward. You can register, pledge, and take part in every other part of the Fun Run without it.

Message frequency varies; expect a few over the course of the campaign. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP to get help. Stopping texts never affects your registration, your pledges, or anything else about your family's account.

We will never share or sell your mobile information, or your consent to receive texts, to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy for how the rest of your information is handled.

We built this site carefully, but it's provided as-is. We don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we're not responsible for the event itself — weather, scheduling, or other real-world circumstances around October 8 are outside the site's control. To the extent the law allows, Holy Family Academy isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages from using this site; nothing here limits any protection the law gives you as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.
